Buying Generators
1. Work at what size you need and multiply it by at least 30%. 2. Don't buy a small one if you think you may need more as customers always size up, never down 3.Make sure that the generator has a conformity certificate, this is a legal requirement but not all generators available have it 4. Talk to other Motorhome users, about there experiences 5. Ask about service and back up (parts especially) 6. If possible buy your generator in a ready to use format and see it working before you leave the dealer. 7.Talk to other traders and see what they have to say about the chosen supplier. 8.Please remember to use a generator with consideration and certainly never after 10pm at a campsite 9. Make sure you buy a good lock and chain 10. Never buy generators off people driving round the campsites |
